What Worked for Me
A Small Book With A Huge Impact
The biggest surprise about Ghachar Ghochar is how much it manages to accomplish in such a short space.
This is not a book filled with dramatic events or constant action. Instead, it creates discomfort through ordinary situations, conversations, and relationships.
The story slowly gets under your skin and makes you observe every character, every decision, and every silence.
Complex Characters With Hidden Layers
The characters in this book are far from simple.
Almost everyone carries a sense of mystery around them. Their actions make you question their morality, their intentions, and the choices they make.
There are moments when you understand them, and moments when you completely question them.

The narrator was probably the character I had the strongest reaction towards.
Among all the questionable personalities in the story, his lack of courage and inability to take a stand frustrated me the most.
